Temple Dara is a hidden sanctuary in the heart of the popular and centrally located Temescal district in Oakland, CA. It is the home of the Women's BodyMystik Dance Tribe and is available for rent.

For decades it has been the site of transformational work through meditation, tantra, movement, massage, yoga, community ritual and more. We welcome all paths, all genders and orientations.

It is on a main street yet feels secluded and quiet. It is filled with natural light and has a great view of the Oakland Hills.

 

At about 1800 square feet with a finished wood floor and 100% wool carpets (which can be rolled up) it is equipped with a sound system, refrigerator, microwave, bathroom, pillows, backjacks, chairs and tables.

 

It is a 13 minute walk from the MacArthur Bart station and easily accessible by car and bus.

 

It is surrounded by a variety of gourmet to grab-n-go restaurants and engaging shops.​
